My Valentine’s Day Thought

The only thing I dislike more than people who go overboard for Valentine’s day are the people who think they’re above it. That is, the people who make a great showing of not “believing in” Valentine’s day, as though a superficial holiday dreamed up to just spend money and be nice to people were something that anyone should spend much time debating about one way or the other.
Shut up, buy your mom some flowers, and step in line with the rest of humanity. You want to eat chocolate, and today is just as good a day as any.
