Norway likely to approve marriage and adoption rights for same-sex couples
Children and Equality minister Anniken Huitfeldt:
“The lives of homosexual and of heterosexual couples are worth the same. The new law is not a weakening of the institution of marriage; rather it represents a strengthening. The value of marriage does not decrease because more people gain access to it.”

I have always thought that same sex marriage did not dilute hetro marriage, I thought it is was just an argument that corporate America wanted to push out there so they did not have to extend health benefits to more people – a money thing.
