Selected Works
July 12, 2004
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, my updated portfolio is online. I’ve converted the old, slice-and-dice table based layout to pure CSS. The side-effect of that, other than the warm-and-fuzzy feeling of standards-compliance, is that the site probably doesn’t look quite right yet. So, if you’d like to take a look, please feel free to email me or leave a comment on this post with your thoughts or concerns. Ensuring correct appearance in every browser on every platform is a bit of a pipe dream, but I’m hoping to make it look as good as possible for the majority of folks who stop by. Enjoy!

Stunning work Matt, some excellent examples in your portfolio, the whole site is a joy to look at (am I going overboard?).
I’m quibbling I know but, once you’re at your portfolio page, there’s no direct link back to your blog. As I said just a minor thing.
Great stuff
I agree with andy mac, it is terrible. No link back to the blog….come on matt you are better than this. Also, I have severe diarrhea today from the tacos I had last night.
Everything is looking good, Matt.
But personally, I hide the link back to my web site on my online resume on purpose. I’m not too keen on potential big wig employers reading about the time I got wasted and passed out in a parking lot.
Ok – that never happened, but hypothetically…
Jeff—Yep, that was exactly my thinking. Not that I fill every waking moment with shameless depravity, but for now I’ll keep my potential employers thinking about my work, and not the time I fell asleep at a bar and got boobies smashed in my face.
Not that I regret it!
I retract my earlier statement. I was trying to be a sensationalist and start a ruckus. I think the setup of your new portfolio page is wonderful even if the work it self is….well lets just say it is a nice page. I take back everything I said, except the part about diarrhea, that was right on the money.
