Simpler
November 29, 2005
It seems that, from time to time, everyone syncs up for just a few short seconds, like car blinkers in traffic. One of those times seems to be now, and it’s all about finding and appreciating the beauty in simplicity.
A few that I’ve noticed as of late…
- A List Apart 208 makes simplicity its focus.
- Andy Rutledge takes a stab at simplifying eBay and comes up with some very good ideas.
- Justin French redesigns TextDrive and writes about the process, saying “No drop shadows, no gradient fills, no rounded corners… Everything needed to have a purpose.”
- 37Signals is on to the trend, mentioning a post by Mark Hurst with a roundup of recent articles on the subject.
