I don’t think you are horrible at sports. You just don’t know a lot if you think that European football takes any more brains and athleticism than any other sport. All sports require a great amount of brains and athleticism. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I think any sport requires brains and athleticism.

Just to add to my above comment, as an American I never understood the fascination of the two American sports. I can watch football and baseball sometimes, but other than that I’m bored unless I’m actually participating in them. You may think that I’m horrible at sports, but I’m actually athletic.

Baseball is overrated. American football is overrated but is better than baseball. European football is a true sport that actually requires brains and athleticism.

Actually, while the logistical nightmares regarding the Orioles are particularly annoying, the entire sport is grating on my nerves. They’re even talking about it on NPR. After 162 games, it is absolutely beyond me how anyone could possibly still be interested in the sport.

And we get to do it all again next spring. Shoot me.

Baseball and football both try my patience, not enough action in either one. Now competitive badminton, that is one heck of a sport. Skill, reflexes, superb physical conditioning, these are just a few of the qualities required for a top notch badminton player. Plus the wear short shorts while playing, which makes it even harder.

Baseball is a sport in which two guys play catch and the rest stand around and scratch their balls. Where is the athleticism, smarts and finesse in that?

My sentiments exactly on baseball. Personally I can’t stand watching the game unless I’m involved in the physical aspect of it. I’m not sure if I would consider myself a true Yankee fan, cause the only time I tune in to root for them, is either in the playoffs or finals. Who can stand watching all the season games….lol?
