Oh man, if you only knew!

I’m a big, big fan of Apple, to the point that I annoy my friends. I goad everyone I know into considering Macs every time I hear someone’s considering a new computer purchase. I love, love, love my PowerBook.

Which is mostly why I was so disappointed at the terrible service I got this go-round from AppleCare. I’ve had power adapters, batteries, and even the logic board serviced before, and the ‘Book’s always arrived back in tip-top shape. I can’t believe so much could go so wrong during one repair, though.

Strange… I never had any bad experiences with Apple! This is just too weird. I guess they hired temps or something. I must admit though, I never had problems with my PowerBook but when coleagues (2 of many with Apple computers) of me send their computer in for repair, they never experienced any problems. Me? All the Apple equipment I bought (computers and iPods) where in tip-top shape, never had a problem (I do know people with iPod problems, but all the iPods with problems are Windows configured).
I hope they’ll address your problem soon and you won’t be an Apple hater for ever!

The beautiful part is that 30 minutes after posting that video, I had made an appointment at my local Genius Bar to bring it back, and when I tried to re-create the problem, I couldn’t get it to work—or, not-work, as the case may be. A few minutes later it was busted again. Augh.

Also, I got a call back from AppleCare regarding the lost/stolen memory chip. The girl told me that no one at the repair center had replied to her e-mail yet, but that she’d call me again on Tuesday. This is ridiculous.

WTF! Jesus, Apple is getting worst and worst on quality assurance and post-sale repair service. This is a joke. You should do a formal complaint.
