Our sources close to Microsoft have confirmed that the company wants to reach out for the retail market presence. Microsoft wants to open and create many retail shops dedicated exclusive to Microsoft and its products.
Who knows how true this is, but the idea is hilarious… just imagine an empty Gateway store stocked to the rafters with brown Zunes.

Are you kidding? The Xbox 360 area alone would bring in an amazing number of customers, especially considering what the 360 is turning into as a multimedia hub. Add a few tables with multi-touch and you have yourself a viable shopping destination.
It’s damn sure not Leopard that drives traffic into the Apple store.
