Memelicious Monday made it all the way down to your humble host’s abode today (a “musical baton,” a rather queer name, if I may say so). So, since Shaun couldn’t come up with five people without including me, here I am!

Okay, I’m a ‘tard. I keep hearing this word ‘meme’ thrown around on the Internet. What is it?
Ahh yes, mem. It rhymes with cream. And dream. And Jim Beam. The technical definition: “An idea that, like a gene, can replicate and evolve. Examples of memes (and meme systems) include political theories, proselytizing religions, and the idea of memes itself.”
Practically, it’s any little piece of Internet lore that gets passed around and becomes temporarily well-known. See the Star Wars Kid, Tron Guy, etc.
